Just imagine the weight you want to be

So often you just imagine the weight you want.  The thing is that weight management can be difficult because it is a lot more complicated than energy in and energy out.

Sure what we eat and how much we exercise is important but so are our unconscious beliefs.

It is very important to look at your weight history and what was happening around the time you put on weight first. This can help you understand WHY you are insulating yourself from the world. Or if you have had weight problems all your life, what was happening in your early childhood.

Your unconscious mind’s job is to keep you safe and it does not understand the subtleties of modern life. It keeps you safe from cold and starvation… by insulating you with a nice thick protective layer of fat. And that is hard to change with will power alone.

Changing your mindset and getting rid of the background problems that block you from achieving not only your weight goals but also from living the life that you truly want to lead is my especial expertise.

Diets do NOT work long term…

… They make your body feel as though it is being starved so that you turn on your inbuilt hormonal response to protect you from starvation and you put all that weight back on again and some more.

Clinical research has shown that when hypnosis is added to weight loss plans it increased weight loss by an average of 97% during treatment; and increased the effectiveness of the post treatment plan by 146%. (Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology 1996).
